Movie Review for "Frozen"

Our teachers showed us the movie "Frozen" last Friday and since nothing's free, I have to post a movie review O_O So here goes:

Frozen is a fantasy animation (but the description in this vid says comedy) happening in Arendelle. Elsa(the ice queen in the video) and Anna are sisters and when they were young, Elsa accidentally shot her(Anna's) head and the trolls removed Anna's memory of her(Elsa's) powers and locked her(Elsa) in so she wouldn't hurt anyone else. But she(Elsa) didn't complain because she didn't want to hurt people too. And Disney continues the tradition of killing the character's parents and they miss each other a lot. Later it's coronation day for Elsa(fanfare and party poppers) YAY and they finally open the castle gates. Then Anna meets a guy named Hans(the one on the left)
and falls in love so they decide to marry on the first day they met O_O Isn't that too fast?! Well, Elsa agrees and won't let them. Then Anna goes all volcanic and explodes, practically gets mad and takes Elsa's glove which is a HUGE mistake. You see, Elsa can only control her power with her gloves and without one, well, she CAN'T. Since Elsa was mad already, it was even harder for her. So she accidentally makes gigantic icicles then runs away since she's afraid and gives herself a makeover and a castle on top of a mountain in this video.
Meanwhile back at Arendelle Elsa had left a accidental present: eternal winter. After Elsa runs away, Anna goes to find her, thinking it's all her fault. On the way she meets Kristoff and his reindeer,Sven. Kristoff becomes Anna's guide up the mountain and loses his sled in the way. But they find an ice ladder that Elsa made (back up in the video, remember?) and goes up into the castle. Elsa gets (a bit)angry and accidentally freezes Anna's heart.
So they visit Kristoff's family, a.k.a., the trolls. The troll said that only an act of true love could thaw a frozen heart so Kristoff takes her to Hans. But Hans ends up being the bad guy and lets Anna die in a freezing room. Well, almost. Olaf gets in the room and turns the fire back on, almost melts and actually finds Kristoff coming back for her. Then Hans tries to kill Elsa and Anna protects her, and dies(freezes) at the same time. Of course, the kids would NEVER let the movie end like that. So Anna defrosts because protecting her sister and dying for her is, well, true love and it ends and everyone lives happily ever after yadda yadda yadda.

  1. Sieun, thanks for sharing your review on your blog. You have provided a good summary of the story with some feelings of yourself expressed and supportive pictures and trailers. The review could have been improved with an introduction - genre, director and when the movie was made and a conclusion providing answers to the questions of lessons learnt, leadership qualities and your personal opinion providing reasons. You made however a good effort - keep up the good work.
